After a great time at the CT Christmas Tournament last week it has been tough on everyone to pick the Mid-State Toyota Player of the Week. We decided it had to be on an overall performance and how far the team was ablet to advance. We choose a player form Southwestern Randolph with a touch win over Asheboro in the second round and a hard fought game against Jordan Matthews. With a great performance from a freshman Kaila Craven got the award this week. Craven had a very consistant three games not only in scoring but running the offense for the cougars as well as gaurding a big field of gaurds. Craven is becoming a crowd favorite with her ball handling skils, passing and ability to get to the scoring zone. The enitre team of SWR are tough and carry a big bag of pride everytime they step on the floor.
Craven : 11 points 4 steals 1 block, 17 points 5 steals 15 points 3 rebounds
